1403 Live Fire - Fixed Facility Instructor I
Our Fire and Emergency Services 1403 Live Fire Training Evolutions Fixed Facility Instructor I course follows the instructional criteria of NFP A 1700, NFPA 1403, fixed facility requirements, roles and responsibilities, development of live fire training evolutions.
Participants must have Current CDFPC –Firefighter II or higher, CDFPC Instructor I or higher. Full structural PPE and SCBA with current fit test are required to participate in practical evaluation.
Course will conclude with the CDFPC Practical Exam, and candidates will be eligible to take the CDFPC Written Exam.
SAFD receives no funding for this course, and provides this course free of charge to I-70 Corridor agencies and members of the CFTOA.
Course is Thurs-Sat from 0900-1700.
Candidates will need to have:
TEXT: LIVE FIRE TRAINING – PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE 2ND EDITION (PUBLIC SAFETY GROUP) (optional…recommended)
NFPA 1403: STANDARD ON LIVE FIRE EVOLUTIONS, 2ND EDITION (a digital or printed copy of the standard)
Equipment: Laptop, full structural PPE and SCBA with a fit-tested mask
