Wildland Live Burn Type 4 Incident Training Nov 1st
Wildland Live Burn Type 4 Incident Training
Sable Altura is excited to offer a wildland training event in the form of a Type 4 incident response. This training will provide opportunities from entry level to command positions. Firefighters, including those not currently red carded up to Incident Commander Type 4 and division supervisor are invited to join. Training opportunities for all levels will be included and with weather permitting will include live fire exercises. Our focus is to provide valuable training to entry level all the way through single resource boss trainees.
Training will occur November 1st and 2nd this event will be planned as an all training mimicking a wildland incident. You may attend either day or both days. If attending both days, PLEASE REGISTER FOR BOTH DAYS. Please plan to pack lunch and snacks for the day.
Those looking for a wildland field day (S-130 field day) may apply as well and the incident will provide certification.
Please note that this training incident is entirely volunteer and while we will work to provide resource orders for training purposes, no actual resource order nor resource reimbursement will be provided.
Most training will occur at Sable Altura Station Two located at Sage Ridge off Quincy Ave. in Arapahoe County and directions will follow registration. The event will include incident briefing, followed by an operational shift and AAR before closing out for the evening and will repeat on Sunday. You may choose to attend either day or both days.
Full Wildland PPE is required for the live burn events.
PLEASE REGISTER ALL PARTICIPANTS AND APPARATUS
