AHA BLS Provider (CPR)
This course is the full course for Basic Life Support using the American Heart Association Guidelines.
This course is being taught by new “Instructor Candidates”, who are being supervised and evaluated by experienced EMT’s and Paramedics who are already established AHA BLS Instructors.
While most CPR courses are around $55.00 to $70.00 a person, this course is provided FREE of charge to all SAFD District Residents, SAFD staff and their families. Non-SAFD-related participants are only required to pay for only the cost of the AHA eCard, which is approximately $7.00.
Participants will engage in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and airway solutions, learn AED use, and more.
An AHA book will be provided for all NON-SAFD particpants.
This course is applicable for anyone needing the INITIAL COURSE, or RENEWAL
